For some reason, the critical rating shown in the status window is only half the actual rating when using katars as an assassin. To calculate your actual critical, just double what's shown (this is why there is a discrepency when using only calculators). This doesn't appear to be the case with other weapon/mastery skills, but these haven't been tested in game.

If you change your mind or realize you allocated skill/stat points poorly, you can pay Reset Girl in the Prontera court yard to reset one or the other. The cost is 1k zeny to reset either skill or stat points, or 1.5k zeny for both. Quest skills should remain after reset as of the latest server update, but reset at your own risk.

Most non-aggresive mobs will not agro you if you start fighting an enemy next to them, with the exception of insects which will swarm as a group. For most insects, though, this only happens for the exact mob and not related types (for instance, attacking a thief bug will not cause a female thief bug to agro you).

Equipment dropped by mobs needs to be identified using a magnifying glass before it can be used, but the sale price remains the same regardless of if it's identified. If you are selling to NPCs, it's recommended not to identify the equipment as you save yourself the cost of the magnifying glass.
